EXO Sehun was discovered on the street by the SM Entertainment casting director in 2006. He said he was eating tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes).
He got into SM as a trainee in 2008.

His friends made fun of him in elementary school because of his name. He has the same name as the former mayor of Seoul.
