She got an audition offer from a JYP Entertainment casting team staff at 2015 KBS Song Festival (she went to the festival with her sister because her sister was a fan of BTOB).
She sang Ailee – Evening Sky and Aegukga (national anthem of South Korea) for her JYP audition.
Yuna got into JYP Entertainment as a trainee in 2016 and made her debut as a member of ITZY in 2019.
