1. RM
Leader, Main Rapper
Rapper Sleepy recommended RM to Pdogg, the producer / composer of Big Hit Entertainment.
He joined Big Hit in 2010 (he was 17 years old).
2. SUGA
Lead Rapper
SUGA placed second in HIT IT Audition 1.
He joined Big Hit in 2010 (he was 18 years old).
3. J-HOPE
Main Dancer, Sub Rapper
J-HOPE passed his Big Hit audition in 2010.
He joined Big Hit in 2010 (he was 17 years old).
4. JIN
Sub Vocalist
JIN was discovered on the street by a casting director of Big Hit Entertainment.
(He was reading his script while commuting to Konkuk University.)
He joined Big Hit in 2011 (he was 20 years old).
5. JUNGKOOK
Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Sub Rapper
JUNGKOOK was scouted by 7 different entertainment companies (Big Hit, JYP, Starship, CUBE, FNC, Woollim and TS) after his Superstar K3 (survival show) audition, and he chose Big Hit.
He joined Big Hit in 2011 (he was 15 years old).
6. V
Sub Vocalist
V went to Big Hit audition to support his friend, and he received an audition offer from a casting director of Big Hit Entertainment.
He joined Big Hit in 2011 (he was 17 years old).
7. JIMIN
Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist
JIMIN’s dance instructor recommended him for Big Hit audition.
He joined Big Hit in 2012 (he was 18 years old).

j-hope is the first signed trainee of Big Hit as written in Beyond The Story book 🙂 He is the third to join the dorm since his training was outsourced in Gwangju from April to December 2010

j0hope was the first member to be signed to bighit. He told us in the 2018 memories dvd and it was confirmed then and subsequently on other occasions by both himself and other members such as RM. This is the order they joined the training programme at bighit, not the order of which they were signed.
